We're expanding quickly and looking for like-minded dance and movement educators to join us. 

We offer in-school, after-school, and community programming throughout the city of Chicago with an emphasis on providing high quality, student-driven arts education. All educators at My Art House Studio at W-2 employees.

DANCE EDUCATORS

Pay: $25-50/class depending on program and experience, filed as a W-2 employee

Needed Experience: 

-Significant experience teaching dance and movement to kids between the ages of 2-18

-Significant experience teaching beginners and/or recreational classes

-Experience teaching in public schools, community programming (ie, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, etc) or park districts

-Experience with program development 

-Experience in building collaborative movement, rehearsal directing, and showcase execution

Optional Experience:

-Bachelor of Arts in Dance, Master of Arts in Dance or Dance Pedagogy: We mean it when we say this is optional. College degrees do not always guarantee a great teacher. We are looking for dedicated individuals and this is just one of many ways we can quickly peek into your experiences.

-Experience with executing program assessment
